Discover the Natural Beauty of St. Petersburg Through

a Private Cruise With Local Boat Charter

Sightseeing, Sandbar, and Wildlife Cruises!

Enjoy what the locals do in St. Petersburg, Florida with Local Boat Charter. We provide private tours for sightseeing, sandbars, and just cruising!   Observe our wildlife and natural wonders, peek at expensive homes, or just sit back and enjoy!

Our cruises are not on the beach, which means you can expect fewer crowds and more fun! We promote conservation and you will be able to experience Florida’s natural wildlife and their habitat.

Our everyday life involves cruising around the area, taking pictures of dolphins and other wildlife, or playing in the water at the local sandbar. We would love for you to experience these too! Hang out with us and be a local!

Meet Your Captain and Crew

Captain Vicki Parker holds a USCG Master’s 100 GT Near Coastal license with towing endorsement. Vicki has been boating the Tampa Bay area all her life.  As a native of St. Petersburg and the Tampa Bay area, she has 50 years of experience boating the Tampa Bay waters.

Vicki's first mate, Nellie, who is also a therapy dog, enjoys pointing out the local wildlife, such as dolphins and manatee.  Her job is to make sure the guests see the wildlife and having a fun time.

Captain Vicki has always dreamed of operating a tour boat business in the Tampa Bay area. After working in the corporate world for more than 37 years and raising a family, her dream has finally become a reality with Local Boat Charter.
